At the PAC'07 conference, Prizes for Achievement in Accelerator Physics and Technology were awarded to two persons, related to NSU ( http://uspas.fnal.gov/prizewinners.html ). Sergei Nagaitsev is the NSU graduate and one of the directors of Friends... . Yaroslav Derbenev taught at the Accelerator Physics chair special seminars.

This year, Fermilab accepted 12 students from Russia, including 6 from the Novosibirsk State University, to its Internship for Physics Majors summer program. All students are involved in activities related to accelerator physics and technology (see photo)
